Our firm is led by attorney Don A. McGriff. Don has handled governmental affairs at the municipal, county, and state levels since 1986, representing law firms, legal associations and other interests before the legislature. He has served extensively in government, including on the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles, as a former prosecutor, as a confidential assistant to the governor, and on the board of the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

A leader in local politics, he is chairman of the Baldwin County Republican Party and was an endorsed nominee for two statewide elected offices. He also serves on the board of The Lovelady Center, a nonprofit in Birmingham. He is certified as a mediator through the Alabama Supreme Court.

Attorney Walter Patton handled eminent domain cases for almost his entire career, which was as an attorney with the U.S. Corps of Engineers, including serving as chief of the acquisition branch of the Corps's Real Estate Division, Mobile District. He also served as a lawyer with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General (JAG Corps). He understands complex cases and federal regulation.
