Attorney Don A. McGriff has real world experience in governmental affairs. He has been handling government affairs at the municipal, county and state levels since 1986 and has served extensively in government in positions including prosecutor, member of the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles, member of the Baldwin County Board of Education, confidential assistant in the governor's office of Governor Bob Riley assigned to the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR), and as a board member of the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.
He was appointed by Governor Bob Riley and currently sits as a member of the Alabama Commission on Women and Girls in the Judicial System, charged writing new legislation, and serves on the Legislative Committee of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a leader in local politics, serving as chairman of the Baldwin County Republican Party and endorsed twice as nominee for statewide elected office.
He knows what gets results and he knows why recommendations sometimes fall upon deaf ears. He has personal relationships with numerous legislators of government at every level. He knows how to get results.
